Multilogin vs GoLogin
GoLogin is what a lot of people install the week they decide “I should try an antidetect browser.” Multilogin is what many of those same people search next once profiles stop being a toy.
I’m not going to roast GoLogin for existing. Entry products matter. If you only need a handful of light profiles and you’re not writing automation yet, paying Multilogin Business money would be silly. The interesting question is the crossover point.
Where GoLogin tends to sit
GoLogin’s pitch has always included approachable pricing and cloud sync for people who aren’t building a platform. Automation exists in the ecosystem, but the gravity is “get profiles running,” not “Multilogin X + Playwright is the spine of the company.” That’s fine. Different job.
Where Multilogin pulls ahead
Once you care about repeatable start/stop, CDP attach, cookie hygiene across lanes, and maybe Cloud Phone later, Multilogin’s tooling compounds. We publish the boring guides on purpose: auth, Playwright, CDP failures. That corpus only makes sense if Multilogin X is durable.
Pricing stopped being an automatic GoLogin win. Multilogin’s Free tier (five profiles) covers a real trial. Pro yearly at the ten-profile step was near $7 / month on the checkout we saw, before SAAS50. So the old “I’ll stay on GoLogin forever because Multilogin is enterprise-priced” line needs a refresh against current carts.
Stay on GoLogin if…
…you’re still learning what a sticky proxy even is, you have no scripts, and your accounts are low-stakes experiments. Migrating for vibes wastes a weekend.
Move (or dual-run) if…
…you’ve hit weird fingerprint or automation ceilings twice, you’re about to hire someone to write Playwright, or Android cloud lanes are on the roadmap. Dual-run is underrated: keep GoLogin for junk tests, put money accounts on Multilogin Pro.
Migration checklist (if you do switch)
- Export / document proxy host:port:user:pass per lane — don’t invent new geography on day one.
- Recreate profiles on Multilogin Mimic cores you plan to automate; warm before API (warmup).
- Prove CDP attach on a sacrificial profile — Playwright · CDP desk.
- Only then move ad or affiliate money. Keep GoLogin for throwaways until you’re bored of paying for two seats.
For ads buyers specifically
